Woman says fugitive hid in her home before police shooting

A woman says a wanted man hid inside her home in North Coventry Township for roughly 40 minutes after barging through her back door during a police chase Monday night.

Pat, who asked to be identified only by her first name, said she was stunned when the man suddenly appeared in her kitchen.

"There's a man in my house and I didn't invite him in. He just came," she said.

Police say the chase ended with officers shooting the suspect, identified by police sources as 40-year-old Joshua McFadden. But before that confrontation, Pat says McFadden entered her home asking for help.
