Today we’ll be discussing the importance of consistent, highly detailed medical records and what you should be telling your doctor when describing certain impairments. The more details you can provide about your condition, the better. For example, simply saying that one’s carpal tunnel syndrome, neuropathy, or herniated cervical disk isn’t enough. Instead, describe any hand and/or arm problems by telling your doctor how many pounds you’re able to hold in one hand without needing to drop the object.
