Do you want to teach your kids the English alphabet and let them learn how to write? This is the right place to get the ideas to do so and let your kids learn to spell, write and know more about the different English games that would teach them.

Spelling the letters on their own is different than spelling them in the same way they would when pronounced among words, and that is exactly what phonics is all about, it is about the sounds of the letters and the way they should be pronounced correctly (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UGSFKYDRyc).

There are different English games that parents could depend on and play with their kids in order to teach them to write letters and words, such as the XO or as it is sometimes referred to "the knots and crosses". The more one chooses a game that the kids already love but use it in the learning way, the more the kids will find the whole lesson interesting and might even ask you to repeat it.

The XO game which the kids love to play is usually about writing the X's and the O's and ending up with a winner - sometimes they both lose - but since this is some kind of an educational lesson, the main idea behind it is to use two different words instead of the X and the O in order for the kid to practice how this word should be written. Through the process of learning to write the words, parents should also ask the child to put the word into a sentence and keep them rereading it every single time to make sure they are spelling the word correctly.

This is one of the different games that parents could play with their kids when it comes to teaching them English words. In order to make it easier for the child, parents could first stick a sticky note beside them with the word they are supposed to play with and write down, and after two times of writing it down, they should then remove it and cover those ones written in the game in order to let the kids write it from their memory and avoid cheating. This will make it easier for the kid to recognize the word and manage to learn it in an easier way.

Let the kids be the ones in charge of the game and give them the permission to lead it all because that's how they are going to repeat and that's how they are going to ask you to play once again. The more creative the game that you have chosen is, the more the kids will love it and will need to do it more than once, that's mainly because kids love creativity and they love to do things with games and playing around.

There are different games out there related to teaching the kids the English alphabet, letting them know what is phonics and how they are supposed to spell the words correctly, and eventually there are those games that help in teaching the kids to write down the letters and the words correctly. It could happen with using play-doh (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7GsJrDdCVU), it could happen with using the Lego pieces (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmmNwX1bPH4) and there are other creative methods that include writing down the letters in the ordinary ways but with using crayon and paint (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVL9oskIn10).
