Counting Rhymes for children - a great animated video to help support your child with counting from 1-5, the video also introduces the concept of simple subtraction.
There are different methods used with kids to teach them how to count, one of these methods or techniques is the different rhymes that they are given the chance to sing along with. These rhymes are numerous, one of them is called the "Five Little Monkeys" and this is the one we brought through this educational video.
This counting rhyme helps the kids to count to 5 and it also makes the subtraction method much easier for them. Here are the words of the song:

Educating your kids should happen through easy methods and ways to make them more excited and at the same time make it easier for them to learn the lesson. Learning the numbers and knowing the right order when it comes to counting could happen through playing with the kids and counting specific items, through singing some counting rhymes with them and it could also happen through showing them the numbers through writing them down and giving them the permission to do the same, so they will learn the numbers and how they are written.

One of the good things about these counting rhymes for kids and about using them and depending on them is that they also help the kids with one of the mathematical equations which is subtraction. How many monkeys would remain if one was removed from five? To get the kids excited about learning to count and knowing how to do it correctly, we have doubled this song in the video; the first time for us to sing along and let them learn about the rhyme, and the second is for giving them the chance to sing along with us after learning the rhyme (they might still not be able to remember it all, but they could read the words and sing along).

Always take the process of teaching your kids step by step and don't overload them with information all at once, because most probably they will lose it all and will forget everything they are supposed to learn.
