Where Did European Civilization Begin

5000 years ago an incredible flourishing of culture took place in the heart of the Aegean Sea. Before its collapse by the end of the Third Millennium BC this 'Cycladic Civilization' reached incredible artistic and societal heights. Leading many researchers over the years to hail it as Europes 'First' Civilisation. I'm not saying this is definitively the case, but let's investigate the Bronze Age Aegean.
