Name Origins: The name 'Albertosaurus' is a tribute to the Canadian province of Alberta, where its fossils were first discovered.

Appearance: Slightly smaller than the T-Rex, the Albertosaurus had a long, slender body with sharp teeth, and it walked on two powerful legs. Its tiny arms were much shorter than its legs, but that didn’t slow it down!

Diet: Just like its cousin, the T-Rex, Albertosaurus was a carnivore. It loved fast food – and by that, we mean it was a speedy predator chasing down its meals!

Social Creature?: Some scientists believe that the Albertosaurus might have lived in packs or family groups. Imagine a whole gang of these dinosaurs roaming together!
