Iran got a jump on Trump by releasing own version of a draft US deal

Former US ambassador to the UAE Barbara A Leaf claims Iran “kind of got a jump” on the Trump administration by releasing its own version of a draft agreement with the US.

“It’s been back and forth all day with disputation by Washington and Tehran,” she told Sky News Australia.

“But it does seem that they are inching closer and closer to that moment of signing a framework deal that will open the way to the next stage, which will be quite difficult to come to terms on the nuclear program.”
