Utility imposter scamming Philadelphia seniors out if tens of thousands of dollars

Philadelphia police are searching for a man accused of posing as a utility worker to gain entry into homes and steal large sums of cash and jewelry from elderly residents.

Investigators say the suspect has victimized at least four older adults over the past three weeks using the ruse of working for the city's water department before entering homes and carrying out thefts. The most recent incident occurred on Monday.
