Issues in National Security, Lecture 10: James B. Stockdale II

In the Issues in National Security Lecture Series, U.S. Naval War College faculty hold scholarly lectures for the benefit of spouses and other family members of our students and employees. Ten lectures will be offered from January through May 2019.

At the May 14 event, visiting lecturer James B. Stockdale II gave a talk entitled "A Family Story of Navy Life." His father, Vice Adm. James B. Stockdale, served as a U.S. Naval War College president after returning from years of captivity as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
