Our 8-month-old otter sisters, Umami and Maromi, tried raw meat for the first time! 🦦🥩
This time, we prepared fresh horse sashimi meat sold for human consumption.
At first, they were a little wary and took a tentative bite…
But then—
The moment they realized how delicious it was, both of them went into overdrive!
They got completely absorbed in it and started gobbling it up ✨
As usual, Maromi got so caught up in playing with the food that she forgot she was supposed to be eating it 😂
And before we knew it, they’d polished off the whole plate.
The look on their faces when they realized the plate was empty was priceless.
