WELCOME TO EPISODE 1 OF OUR EPIC G219 HIGHWAY EXPEDITION! 🏍️❄️ Today, we push our BMW R 1250 GSA to the absolute limit as we tackle the most notorious section of the G219 Border Highway: a 220-mile (360km) "No Man's Land" stretching from Doma Township in Tibet to the Sanshili Barracks in Xinjiang. This is the ONLY completely uninhabited stretch on the entire G219 route, with elevations consistently staying above 16,000 feet (5000m). Out here, the weather makes its own rules. In this episode, you'll see us battle through sudden blizzards, severe hailstorms, freezing temperatures, and navigate deadly mountain passes like Hongtu Daban (17,388 ft / 5300m) and Jieshan Daban.
