Description:
Wildlife filmmaker Jake Davis travels to Yellowstone National Park to document the bison rut, when massive bulls compete for dominance and breeding rights. Over several weeks, he captures the intensity of these clashes and the daily life of the herd, from wallowing and bellowing to the aftermath of rut-related deaths.
Once nearly extinct, Yellowstone now holds the largest wild bison herd left. The film combines cinematic wildlife footage with a behind-the-scenes look at filming one of North America’s most iconic species in its last stronghold.
