Welcome to our final Intercultural Communication video project. In today’s globalized world, crossing borders means more than just traveling, it means navigating a hidden web of unspoken cultural rules. In this 15-minute video, we bring to life two distinct roleplay scenarios that showcase how easily everyday interactions can spark major cultural clashes. From the subtle boundaries of personal space in international relationships to the complex world of global etiquette, these two scenes serve as a window into the friction between diverse cultural expectations. Through realistic storytelling and deep academic analysis, we dive beneath the surface of these conflicts to show that successful intercultural communication isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about expanding how you understand the world.

We utilizes two distinct roleplay settings to dissect how intercultural conflicts manifest in both personal and social/professional environments. Throughout both scenes, the integration of core Intercultural Communication (IC) theories, such as High vs. Low Context Communication, Proxemics (personal space), and Haptics (tactile communication), is handled seamlessly. The acting accurately highlights the invisible tension of cultural friction, while the analytical segments effectively apply the Iceberg Model to show that observable behaviors are merely the tip of deeply rooted cultural values.

Rather than framing these misunderstandings as personal faults, the video successfully guides the audience toward Cultural Relativism, illustrating that different cultural frameworks are 'just different, not wrong.
