It is not only the lead arm, but the trail arm that moves away from the body to create a fast arm swing. Today, we are looking at one of the top Major Champions on the LPGA Tour, and if she used a head cover, she would hit it nowhere!

The golf swing is an underhand throwing motion; we need to let the arms move up and down, and away from the body to create leverage on the downswing. You wouldn't throw a ball very far with your throwing arm tucked into your body, why then would you use a headcover under your trail arm pit???
