I traveled deep inside Russia to celebrate Maslenitsa and I want to show you that crazy celebration! It's one of the most ancient Slavic holidays (with pagan roots) that marks the end of winter. Russians celebrate it every year in every city and village and it's really fun! We eat endless blini (Russian pancakes) fight in a wall-to-wall fist battle, burn a giant effigy of the winter goddess and climb a greased pole in underpants 😅 Sounds perfect, right? I also think so lol
So join me in the modern Slavic festival with "Burnin Man" vibes, and traditional Maslenitsa celebration in a regular russian city! :))
