fuse-atelier designed House in Abiko as a compact concrete residence that transforms structural limitations into architectural character. Built on a difficult site in Japan, the 48-square-meter home uses folded concrete forms, elevated spaces, and carefully placed openings to maximize light, privacy, and spatial openness. Despite its small footprint and raw material palette, the house feels bright and calm, with shifting levels and geometric interiors creating a dynamic living experience closely connected to the surrounding landscape.
