Donald Trump: Xi Jinping “Respects the U.S. Military Tremendously”

U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Chinese President Xi Jinping “tremendously” respects the United States military.

“I was with President Xi of China two days ago, and we had a tremendous meeting — a very successful meeting. He agrees that our military is phenomenal. I don’t want to go beyond that, but I will tell you that he respects our military tremendously,” Mr. Trump said.
