In this video, I’m taking a close look at the Dynaboost™ Grease Gun from LockNLube and explaining why it exists and what problem it was built to solve compared to LockNLube’s previous grease gun offerings.

LockNLube built its reputation around fixing one of the most frustrating parts of greasing equipment: grease going everywhere except where it belongs. Their earlier pistol-grip and lever-style guns paired durable construction with their proven locking coupler that snaps onto a Zerk fitting and stays put, dramatically reducing leaks and mess.

But there was still a gap.

Traditional grease guns typically favor either grease volume or pressure. Some move grease quickly but struggle with dry, plugged, or stubborn fittings. Others can build pressure but require more effort, slower operation, or awkward leverage.

That’s what the Dynaboost was designed to address.

This dual-mode grease gun automatically shifts between high-flow and high-pressure operation depending on resistance, delivering smooth grease flow during normal maintenance while generating up to approximately 12,000 PSI when stubborn fittings need extra force. There are no switches to flip. You simply keep pumping and the tool adjusts automatically.

That added pressure helps tackle seized Zerks, long grease passages, cold grease, and neglected equipment without requiring pneumatic systems, hoses, or compressors.

The Dynaboost also keeps many of the features LockNLube users already appreciate. It retains a compact, one-hand-operable design similar to their pistol-grip models, making it easier to use in tight spaces or overhead positions. The ergonomic grip helps reduce fatigue during longer maintenance sessions.

It also continues using the trusted LockNLube locking grease coupler, which securely clamps onto fittings, seals tightly, and releases cleanly. Standard grease cartridges and familiar hose components remain unchanged, so there’s no complicated learning curve.

The Dynaboost doesn’t replace LockNLube’s previous grease guns — it builds on them by adding meaningful performance upgrades while keeping the durability and convenience users already trust.

The Dynaboost featured in this video was provided to me by LockNLube for review. As always, my opinions are based on real-world shop and equipment use.

If you maintain tractors, trailers, implements, or shop equipment and want a manual grease gun that handles both routine maintenance and stubborn fittings, this tool may be worth a look.

Thanks for watching, and as always... Just Do It Yourself.
