Residents near Villanova University frustrated over rowdy partying involving off-campus students

Residents in a neighborhood near Villanova University are frustrated with their sometimes rowdy and disruptive college-student neighbors.

Tredyffrin Township police have responded to the area at least 13 times during the current school year, primarily for noise complaints and other disturbances.

Neighbors say weekends can bring heavy partying, increased rideshare traffic, and speeding vehicles on their narrow street.

"They're speeding. They have Uber's everywhere. They're yelling. There's drunk kids coming up and down the street. They're throwing up, someone peed on my car a few weeks ago," said Rosalynn Simmons.
