Arles is a town of around 52,000 inhabitants located in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

We arrived in Arles in the morning and first did some shopping at the market.

It was strawberry season; they were on sale at many stalls and I found it hard to choose where to buy them.
We also bought some cheese and local pastries etc....

For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious meal at a restaurant I’d been dreaming of visiting for ages. We then strolled through the town, visited monuments dating back to Roman times and explored the sites linked to the painter Van Gogh. It was a very enriching trip.

We weren’t able to visit all the places I wanted to, but I hope to return one day to see the ones I missed this time.

I hope you feel like you're travelling with us ✨
