Great White Throne Judgment - Tartarus & 2 Peter 2:1-4, delves into the meaning and source of the angels who sinned and who were delivered to darkness, believed to be the depth of hell. From the source of the Law and the Prophet the use of the term is questionable.

Peter's context is the false prophets who existed among the people from the time of old. We find three O.T. texts with a spurious use of the term. Nothing suggests some realm of departed spirits as we have traditionally believed and taught.
