Mike Johnson got punched in the face by his own party twice in one day. Republicans joined Democrats to force an immigration vote he tried to bury, then turned around and killed his surveillance bill hours later. These weren’t fringe rebels, these were the members he depends on to keep his job. They are looking at their districts, looking at the polling, and deciding Trump is a liability they can’t afford to carry.
