Blessed Are Those Who Enter the City | Revelation 22 Explained

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.”

It ties the Apocalypse opening chapter to the closing chapters. It is the time of the rewarding of all the saints up to that time.

It has set the standard of judgment, i.e. the righteousness of the gospel in the kingdom of God.

Those who do the commandments of God are blessed as the faithful. Those outside are the unbelievers. The Bible does not teach universalism.
