Introducing the LUMIX S 40mm F2 — a compact, lightweight prime lens made for everyday versatility.

A natural 40mm field of view and bright F2 aperture deliver soft, beautiful bokeh for street photography, portraits, and landscapes. Measuring approx. 40.9mm (1.61 inch) in length and weighing approx. 144g (0.32lb), it pairs especially well with the LUMIX S9 for a highly portable setup, and features a 62mm filter thread (same as the LUMIX S 18-40mm F4.5-6.3).

Designed for everyday carry, it features dust- and splash-resistant construction—so you can bring it anywhere and keep shooting without worrying too much about changing weather. It also includes a control ring and focus button for intuitive operation. For video, suppressed focus breathing and micro-step aperture control support smooth, natural-looking footage.
