10 LONDON SLANG WORDS
I recently was hired by a company in the UK to produce two videos in Boston and Rhode Island. The production team that joined me during my trip was Zach (videographer) and Graeme (creative director) who are from London.
During those six days I learned a lot of London Slang so I decided to make a video about it. Here are the London Slang words and their meanings.
1. Peak - There’s a tube strike again this weekend, it’s so peak.
2. Bossman - Four thigh pieces bossman. How’s business?
3. Lock Arff - Road get lock arff.
4. Mandem - The tandem are rolling out tonight.
5. Madting - The finale of Breaking Bad was madting.
6. Roadman - Does he think he’s a roadmap or something?
7. Peng - The nachos at Weatherspoons are so Peng.
8. Blower - You mum’s on the blower.
9. Lit - This party is lit mate, get down here.
10. Dench - Remember Toby, that weedy kid from sixth form? Apparently he’s Dench now.
