24 Hour LAYOVER in QATAR - Souq Waqif & Dune Bashing | Doha, Qatar
After my 16 day journey in India I had a 24 hour layover in Doha, Qatar. I teamed up with the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli in order to make this epic jam packed day of feasting on non-stop lamb, exploring Souq Waqif and Sand Dune Bashing!

I started my journey from Mumbai to Doha with a 6am flight. It was a 3 and a half hour flight with Indian Air. When I arrived I headed straight to the Souq Waqif, which is the old town of Doha.
I stayed at Al Jasra hotel, one of the nine hotels owned by Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli. Ali the manager showed me some of the properties and took me to explore the Souq Waqif. We saw the Falcon Souq, the Royal Stables and I bought myself a traditional hat. Then I had a quick couscous Lamb lunch, which was delicious!
Next I headed to the dessert with Inbound Qatar Tours. They offer dessert safari's everyday! This is definitely an adrenaline type of excursion so if you think your heart or stomach can handle it you must do this when you visit Doha, Qatar.
To end the night I had a traditional Moroccan dinner at restaurant Argan located in the Al Jasra hotel. I had more lamb chops with couscous Ali took me to see the Bird Market in Souq Waqif. Here you can purchase birds, rabbits, tortoises, dogs and cats. From there headed to one of the suites of the hotel to get the best view of Souq Waqif.
This was an incredible 24 layover in Doha, Qatar. If you are heading to Doha, Qatar and you have a 8-24 hour layover I definitely recommend you do everything in this video! You really need 3 - 5 days to really experience Doha and Qatar as a whole but if your connecting I suggest you stay for at least 24 hour layover.
