N.J. cop indicted on manslaughter charge in fatal shooting of baseball bat-wielding man

A Woodbridge Police sergeant who fatally shot a baseball bat-wielding man outside a local convenience store last year was indicted on April 6, 2026 by a state grand jury, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office said.
