Marco Rubio delivers stark warning on Iran as Trump threatens to quit NATO
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the Middle East campaign was the “last best chance” to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
In a video posted to the White House social media platforms, Secretary Rubio broke down the US campaign, stating the President made the right decision in choosing to act now.
It comes as US President Donald Trump said the war with Iran could end soon.
In a recent interview with Reuters, the President said the US will be out of the conflict ""pretty quickly"" but warned America could return for targeted strikes if needed.
He also told the outlet he is considering leaving the NATO alliance over member nations' perceived lack of support in the Iran conflict.
Trump made the comments just hours before a prime-time address to the nation.
