In today’s behind-the-scenes of David’s Been Here video, I’m taking you with me as I meet up with a good friend for some coffee and food!
My boy Carlos, a.k.a. Volpe Where Are You, is a fellow Miami boy and one of my closest friends in the world of travel. First, I took him to have a colada for the first time!

I started my day at my new office with my post-production manager, Nate, who helped me set everything up. We were still putting the finishing touches on it. My mask collection is up on the walls, and we also had our desks, computers, cubby holes, and a few other things ready.
Then, I met up with Volpe, who’s been living in Venezuela for the past nine or ten months! We walked to a ventanita in my neighborhood of South Miami to get some Cuban street food. We grabbed some pastelitos and empanadas.
The meat empanadas with the olives in it were great, but my favorite is the guava and cheese pastelitos. They’re so flaky!
Then, we headed back to my office to finish off the day!
