Iraqi Fried Fish Mountain!! Iraq Seafood in Basrah!!

Join me as I continue my adventure through Basra, Iraq’s only port city, for an epic seafood feast and a tour of the country’s largest football stadium!

For lunch, we enjoyed an incredible spread featuring fried zubaidi fish, saffron rice, biryani, hummus, tabbouleh, bamya, and more. The buttery fish with its crispy turmeric crust was unreal! After the feast, we explored Basra International Stadium with VIP access, kicked around a ball on the field, and soaked in the energy of this impressive arena. Basra’s food and culture are second to none!
