Welcome to Nakuru, Kenya! After traveling around this beautiful country for nearly a week and a half, I finally made it to the final city on my itinerary before we wrap things up in Nairobi. Come with me as I explore the area and enjoy a shocking goat head meal in Nakuru, Kenya!
Joining me are my guides from Kumbukumbu Tours and my friend and cameraman Tasos. We’d be eating at Manyatta Greenland Bar & Restaurant, a popular spot in town to have this local delicacy! They also sell the national dish, nyama choma, which is grilled meat!

MANYATTA GREENLAND BAR & RESTAURANT: Here, we watched local butchers and cooks go through the entire process of making kichwa ya mbuzi, which is goat head! From picking the severed head, to burning off all the hair, to boiling it, we experienced it all. We ended with a tender (and exotic) goat head feast with ugali, managu, and a spicy kachumbari!
