Tensions reach a boiling point in Ambridge as secrets are uncovered and health fears take centre stage.
In today’s episode, Tony Archer is left reeling after discovering a newspaper advert for the dispersal sale of his beloved organic Angus cattle. Having believed he had weeks to say goodbye, he is devastated to find the sale is imminent. The revelation that Helen listed them early to be "efficient" leads to a heated confrontation at Bridge Farm, leaving Tony feeling out of control as the farm's "radical vision" for the future moves faster than he can handle.
Meanwhile, a much more private and frightening drama unfolds for Pip. After discovering a lump, she asks a hesitant Stella to help her confirm her fears. With her mother having battled breast cancer at a similarly young age, Pip is spiralling into worry about what this could mean for her and young Rosie. Can she keep a "normal" front for the family while waiting for an urgent appointment with the surgery?
We also see Azra from the surgery visiting the farm to discuss a new mental health initiative. While the women discuss the difficulty men have in opening up, Tom’s blunt "suck it up" attitude proves exactly why such an initiative is needed in the village.
