Skytemple (Svant’Okarthel) is the mountain citadel of dragons in Gaia, a sprawling city of towers and spires built by dragons and their kin across several peaks. Considered the holiest site in draconic culture, it is dedicated to Xathedrali, the First Wyrm and creator of dragons, whose immense temple holds a gleaming statue of gold, silver, platinum, and rhodium. The city is guarded by the Teriyxi Dracona, an order of twelve near-demigod dragons sworn to protect Skytemple and uphold the legacy of dragonkind. Though nearly inaccessible to mortals, a chosen few humans and dragonkin serve as caretakers within its walls. Home to more than 300 dragons, Skytemple is both a monastery and a sanctuary, governed by a religious hierarchy where the eldest of the Teriyxi Dracona, Lord Kihari and Lady Vaaika, preside over great councils.
