Aurea Regina de Oliveira Coelho is an Emmy Award-winning Brazilian composer, arranger, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist from Rio de Janeiro.
Besides her Bachelor's in Orchestral Conducting at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, she studied with César Guerra Peixe (Harmony, Fugue and Counterpoint), Aída Gnattali (Piano and History of Music), and Murillo Santos (Orchestration).In her studio, she crafts soundtracks for movies, orchestral ensembles, blending contemporary classical music with expressive depth and original vision. With a treasure trove of autoral songs and poems, she weaves emotional narratives in a universal language.
Always inspired to collaborate with film directors and artists globally, scoring soundtracks for dramas, sci-fi, and beyond. She was the daughter-in-law of Dutch composer Jurriaan Andriessen, worked with Toots Thielemans, Chico Buarque de Holanda, and etc.

The Concerto for flute Ianã Amazônia Dreams is a symbolic honor to Ianã, which tells the story of a baby girl rejected at birth because of a physical defect, but who miraculously survived and years later saves the shaman who abandoned the newborn in the forest.
