From Earth to “heat death”: the chronology that leads from the end of life to a universe in total darkness.

We continue moving beyond the first video to see how the Sun's increasing luminosity pushes the habitable zone outward, while Earth enters a spiral of instability: the Moon drifts away, the axis loses stability, the outer core eventually freezes, and the magnetic field disappears. Then comes the final blow: impossible temperatures, the extinction of the last life, and, in time, evaporated oceans and a surface reaching nearly 1,130 °C.

On a cosmic scale, the film becomes even stranger: the collision between Andromeda and the Milky Way, a Sun that swells into a red giant and devours planets, a brief respite on places like Titan, and later, the cold of a white dwarf. And from there, the universe gradually fades away in phases: galaxies disappearing from the observable horizon, stars ceasing to form, stellar remnants being ejected, everything falling into black holes… until even they evaporate and only silence remains. In the end, the question is not what happens, but what it means to exist in such an immense timescale.
