In this history documentary we bring to life the True Size of a US Marine Corps Rifle Company as it would have been deployed in 2003 for the Iraq War. We begin with an overview of the evolution of the Marine Corps starting from its earliest days in the revolutionary war through the World Wars and up into the dawn of the 21st century.
We then explore the high level structure of the US Marine Corps. Its combat arm is chiefly made up of Marine Expeditionary Forces which act as pools of manpower from which Marine Air Ground Tasks Forces can be created for specific missions. Next we cover the training and equipment of an individual Marine before seeing how they fit into the organization of a Fire Team, a Squad, a Platoon, and a Company.
