
CCP Worked to Convince US Officials to Adopt Anti-Oil Policies: Analyst
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright is directing an oil company to resume operations in California amid rising oil prices, while Gov. Gavin Newsom says restoring production at the oil facility will have “no impact on lowering global oil prices.”
Bart Marcois, a former career diplomat, energy department official, and foreign policy analyst, joined NTD to offer his analysis. He said that oil is plentiful in California, and that it’s the policies that keep production shut down that create shortages.
