these were the golden years of the PL for me, you had warriors at arsenal and united with viera and keane. Gerrard and Lampard were younger, fresher, keen to undermine the big boys. Arsenal was a cut above everybody else with their sublime passing style, they also had some character at highbury with that pitch so close to the stands. Chelsea were emerging as the new contender for the crown with their impregnable defense of terry/carvahlo. And of course, this was fergie's driest period, but he still sent out quality sides which entertained and fought really hard.
