This is a riparium style micro pond aquascape for my study table.
This project is perfect for small spaces.

I used a shallow 8" glass vase for this build.
Dragon wood was used to create the hardscape which based on the classic "V" formation. Seiryu stones, aqua gravel and detailing wood was used to created interest in the hardscape
For substrate I used ADA aquasoil which was capped by ADA La Plata sand to lock the nutrients. This is more on the lines of a Walstad style setup.
I laid down some DOOA terra tape on the driftwood and placed sheet moss on it. The terra tape is expected to keep the moss hydrated by wicking water from the vase.
The plants were selected carefully based on submerged and emerged positioning and growth.
Dwarf Hairgrass, Anubias and Hydrocotyle were planted submerged.
Creeping Jenny, Rotala, Juncus Repens, Hemigraphis Repands and Alternanthera Calico were planted with parts of them emerged in Riparium style. Spirodela Polyrhiza was added in the end to serve as floaters.
