In this video I share one of my favourite plants in the garden — the humble pineapple. What started as a single pineapple top planted in the soil has slowly grown into a little pineapple patch here on the hill.

Pineapples are one of the most rewarding plants you can grow. They love warm climates, they don’t ask for much, and with a bit of patience they turn into one of the sweetest fruits you can harvest from your own garden.

In this film I show you how I grow my pineapples here in The Weedy Garden — from planting the tops, to building healthy soil with compost, to watching them slowly mature into beautiful fruit. It’s a simple process, but like most things in the garden, the magic is in the patience.
