SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell has revealed a possible new schedule for Starship Flight 12, and the launch may be further away than many expected. In this episode of Great SpaceX, we examine why the next Starship launch might not happen until April and what delays are affecting the timeline.
Recent reports suggest Flight 12 could be four to six weeks away, which would place the launch window in early to mid-April. The schedule relates to the progress of Ship 39 testing, booster preparations, and certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Meanwhile, development of the next vehicles continues to accelerate. Hardware for Flight 13, including Booster 20 and Ship 40, is already progressing through assembly. If Flight 12 launches successfully, SpaceX could soon increase the Starship launch cadence.

At the same time, major news is emerging about the future of the International Space Station (ISS).
