Peony on Antique Colored Hemp Paper

Ling Chi is back painting on a brand new exciting paper: Antique Colored Hemp Paper. This is a semi-sized paper that has an attractive "antique" color. It is a wonderful paper with a "goldilocks" amount of sizing. Just enough sizing to make it easy from a moisture control standpoint but still enough absorbency to get the type of transparency and color fading that Asian style brush painters covet.

Artists with a background in western water color will particular appreciate this paper as it is much more agreeable to the type of tendencies that artists with that background exhibit.
