X Files Legal Challenge to $140 Million EU Fine Under Digital Services Act

Social media platform X has filed an appeal at the EU’s General Court challenging a $140 million fine imposed under the Digital Services Act. The company argues the penalty violates due process and alleges prosecutorial bias.

Legal experts say the case could test the scope of the European Commission’s enforcement powers and shape how the DSA is applied to major online platforms.
