How can I support children learning to use the potty?
Have you got a child learning to use the potty at home? This toddler potty training book will help them on their journey to becoming toilet trained. Part of the 'Growing Up in Bobbin Bridge' collection, the story follows Asha, a pre-school-aged child. Asha is learning to use the potty, so she takes it with her when she goes out with her family.
Throughout the story, Asha is encouraged to use the potty. Asha and her mum sing a song to help Asha remember to use the potty when she needs to go, especially when she's having fun and might get distracted. Whenever Asha tries to use the potty, she gets to colour in a picture of pants as a reward.
This book is a great way to show children all the ups and downs of learning to use the potty. Asha isn't successful right away and wets herself once in the book, which will help children to understand that it's okay if they don't get it right the first time either.
