A Tree Fell… Winter Cottage Garden Reset & a Hidden Gem in Dublin
In this cosy winter vlog, I’m pottering in the garden between heavy showers, tackling a satisfying winter declutter and a few small tidy-up jobs after weeks of wild weather. I’m sharing what winter gardening really looks like right now, including a bit of unexpected drama after a tree came down in December, and why I had to get another tree trimmed soon after.
Once the garden jobs are done, we head out on a slow winter wander to one of Dublin’s best hidden gems: the National Botanic Gardens.
This beautiful spot is completely free to visit and home to the most stunning glasshouses and green spaces, even in the depths of winter. If you love cottage gardens, quiet days outdoors, and gentle seasonal resets, I think you’ll really enjoy this one.
