This study investigated the association between step count and all-cause mortality, as well as the incidence and mortality of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer. The findings suggest that increasing daily step count is associated with lower risks of mortality and disease incidence, while walking at a higher cadence may be associated with additional risk reduction.
