A word for wives,
Sub-mit to your own hus-bands, 
As it is fit-ting in the Lord.
Now as hus-bands,
Love your wives.
Don’t be harsh with them.
Now to you, chil-dren,
Obey your parents in all things:
For this is well pleas-ing to the Lord.
Now to you, fa-thers,
Don’t pro-voke your chil-dren to wrath,
Or they will be-come dis-cour-aged.
And you, ser-vants,
O-bey your earth-ly mas-ters in all things,
Not in the way of eye-serv-ice,
As men-pleas-ers, 
But with sin-cer-i-ty of heart,
And rev-er-ence for the Lord. 
What-ev-er you do,
Do it heart-i-ly, heart-i-ly,
As to the Lord and not to men,
Know-ing that from the Lord
You will re-ceive the re-ward of the in-her-i-tance.
It is the Lord Christ you are serv-ing.
An-y-one who does wrong will be re-paid for their wrongs,
And you, mas-ters,
do the same things un-to them,
Giv-ing up threat-en-ing,
Since you know that
He who is both their
Mas-ter and yours is in heav-en,
And there is no partiality with Him.
