Scuba Diving the Great Barrier Reef [4K]

Today we are diving into the underwater paradise of the Great Barrier Reef, in 4K!! It is located off the coast of Queensland, Australia!! The Great Barrier Reef is a natural wonder of the world, part of the seven wonders, in fact!! It's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site!! It is the largest coral reef system on the planet and can even be seen from space!! Elon, take a picture for us, please!!

With over 1500 species of fish, it is nothing short of spectacular!! You will even come across whales, dolphins, porpoise, turtles, manta rays, sea snakes... the list goes on!!

Now for the amazing coral reefs!! They aren't just interesting to look at, they supply an important ecosystem for underwater life!! Did you know that the corals are animals and not plants? The coral consists of a central polyp surrounded by a hard exoskeleton!! The polyp is a living creature that only measures a few millimeters in diameter!! The corals also provide protection and homes for marine life, they break waves from crashing on the shore, they provide income for millions of people and they offer vitamins and minerals to the sea creatures!! Coral reefs are magnificent and beautiful, it's no wonder they are a natural wonder!!!
