FBI Raids GA Elec. Hub; MN Jails to Warn ICE of Illegal Immigrants Release | NTD Newsroom (Jan. 29)
President Donald Trump held his first cabinet meeting of 2026 on Thursday. He announced the reopening of Venezuelan airspace to commercial flights, paving the way for Americans to visit soon. Trump also announced he will unveil his pick for the Federal Reserve chair next week.
White House border czar Tom Homan said he has made significant progress during his meetings in Minneapolis, allowing for the drawdown of federal agents and the conduct of “targeted enforcement operations” in the city. This came as the president shared newly released video footage showing Alex Pretti in a violent confrontation with federal agents in Minneapolis, 11 days before he was fatally shot.
The FBI executed a search warrant at the Fulton County, Georgia, elections office and seized 2020 election documents. The bureau confirmed it sought ballots, tabulator tapes from the scanners used to tally the ballots, electronic ballot images, and voter rolls.
