With just two weeks until the start of the Olympic Winter Games 2026, the centre of the northern Italian town of Ortisei has been transformed into an exhibition for Olympic Games-themed ice sculptures being built live.

Artists, including students from the "Cadamia" art school, carved sculptures depicting motifs such as the Olympic torches, rings, and skiers in anticipation of the Olympic flame passing through Ortisei's centre on Jan. 28.

The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will run from Feb. 6 to 22.
